Stage Presentation "Wacky Science" This interactive stage presentation is guaranteed to educate as well as entertain. Students will help to uncork some "Wacky Science" experiments and tease your eyes and mind with simple illusions. Our student volunteers may also get a little wet during the grand finale! Presentation time: 25 minutes Classroom Presentation 'Laser 101' - Our Newest Program Students will learn how fascinating lasers work in a classroom enviromnent and then see Quassy's new laser maze, filled with criss-crossing brilliant beams of light. Classroom time: 30 minutes
The ABCs About NEWS Students will explore the exciting life of a reporter and learn how to write a news story during this journalism workshop. Workshop time: 1 hour Photography Students will learn how to take better photos with Quassy's professional photographer leading the workshop. Workshop time: 2-4 hours
'Fun With Physics' at Quassy A booklet packed with activities while student teams work their way through the park. Accredited by the American Association of Physics Teachers. Booklet e-mailed in advance of your field trip so faculty can assign projects. Tour time: 1-3 hours, depending on assignments The Commotion About Motion at Quassy How do some basic principles of physics apply to the amusement rides at Quassy? Students will learn the "gravity" of the situation during this walking tour. Tour time: 30 minutes
