No amusement park would be complete without a carousel. At Quassy, we have an ornate Grand Carousel with a menagerie of animals and, yes, “jumping” horses. Our spectacular 50-foot carousel has hundreds of lights, a wood platform and suspended ceiling. The Grand Carousel operates in a 1927 roundhouse – one of the oldest buildings in the park.

One of the most popular rides in the park – the Quassy Express Train. This miniature locomotive and coaches chug along nearly a half-mile track in the Great Lawn area of the park. Excitement? The train ride has plenty of fun not only in a covered, dark tunnel, but, watch out as the track runs directly underneath our Wooden Warrior roller coaster for added thrills. Several models of the miniature train have operated at the park with the current version from Chance Rides in Wichita, Kansas.
