Grand Carousel

No amusement park would be complete without a carousel. At Quassy, the ornate Grand Carousel has a menagerie of animals and, yes, "jumping" horses. This spectacular 50-foot carousel has hundreds of lights, a wood platform and suspended ceiling. The Grand Carousel operates in a 1927 roundhouse -- one of the oldest buildings in the park. This carousel is made by Chance Rides, and debuted at Quassy in 1990.
