You'll be able to beat the heat this season at Bella & Bessie's Pizzeria, located just past the Frantic thrill ride. We've converted the former candy store into an indoor, air-conditioned seating area where you can enjoy our freshly-made pizza and beverages. And we have to admit, our pizza really took a turn for the better when the new location opened in 2017 as the entire prep process just made for a more enjoyable product. But, hey, don't take our word for it - try the pizza during your next visit. You'll also notice the Sweet Sensations building in the heart of Quassy this year. The former hot dog stand is now dishing out favorites such as popcorn, cotton candy, candy apples, slush, and - yes - ice cream. They'll be other goodies offered there as well. As for the name of the pizzeria, well, those two ladies (Bella & Bessie) were former owners when the park was purchased by three local businessmen back in 1937. The family ties remain today as the park is still owned and operated by Frantzis and Anderson families.
